SafeLaw

Cyber Wrap Program for Law Firms and Legal Services

Thousands of law firms rely on the SafeLaw team for our knowledge, technical expertise, financial strength and service commitment.

SafeLaw

Overview

We offer comprehensive cyber coverage for law firms of all sizes.

Law firms carry responsibility for highly sensitive data, client funds, and confidential matters – elevating their cyber risks compared to other industries. Traditional "commercial" cyber policies are built around broad privacy breaches and often fail to address confidentiality, privilege, ethics, and trust account exposures specific to law practices.

SafeLaw is a stand‑alone policy built by lawyers for law firms, designed to protect against cyber risks and to wrap around lawyers' professional liability (LPL) coverage.

  • Coverage designed around firms' most significant risks including ransomware, social engineering and cloud vendor outages
  • Full limits standard for all 1st-party coverages
  • Cybercrime limits up to $500k
  • In-house claims team of specialist attorneys focused on cyber claims
  • Incident response coverage provides a team of experts to guide recovery
