Website: www.bdi.global
Effective Date: July 28, 2026
Last Updated: July 28, 2026

BDI Global Insurance Programs (“BigData Insure LLC d/b/a BDI Global LLC”) believes that visiting a website should not mean surrendering your privacy. We have deliberately built www.bdi.global (the “Site”) to collect as little information about you as possible.

www.bdi.global does not use cookies. We do not place cookies, pixels, tags, web beacons, local storage identifiers, session trackers, or device fingerprinting technologies on your browser at any point while you are on our domain. We do not use advertising networks, behavioral profiling, or third-party analytics platforms on the Site. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not build advertising or marketing profiles about you.

There is no cookie banner on this Site because there is nothing to consent to.

Information We Do Not Collect

When you simply browse www.bdi.global, we do not collect:

  • Cookies or similar tracking identifiers
  • Advertising or cross-site tracking data
  • Behavioral analytics, heatmaps, or session recordings
  • Precise geolocation data
  • Biometric identifiers
  • Sensitive personal information, including racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health data, or union membership
  • Information from children under 16

We do not sell, rent, share, or trade personal information, and we do not process personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Information You Choose to Give Us

The only way personal information reaches us through the Site is when you affirmatively choose to submit it.

Forms hosted by Airtable

Certain pages on the Site link out to forms hosted by Airtable (Formagrid, Inc.), which we use to receive submission, quote, appointment, and general inquiry information. These forms are never embedded on our pages — clicking a form link takes you to a page on Airtable's own domain to complete it. When you complete one of these forms, the information you enter is transmitted to and stored in our Airtable workspace.

Depending on the form, this may include:

  • Name and job title
  • Business name and address
  • Business email address and telephone number
  • Producer, broker, or agency identifying information
  • Information about the risk, exposure, or coverage you are inquiring about
  • Any documents, loss runs, applications, or free-text details you choose to attach or provide

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, evaluate and quote insurance risks, administer programs and appointments, maintain records required for regulatory and professional obligations, and communicate with you about the matter you raised. We do not use form submissions for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Direct correspondence

If you email, call, or write to us, we retain that correspondence and its contents in order to facilitate insurance business and to maintain records as required by law.

Hosting and security logs

Our hosting provider may generate standard, transient server logs (such as IP address, request time, and requested resource) as a technical and security necessity of delivering the Site. These logs are not used to identify or profile visitors, are not linked to any marketing activity, and are retained only for the limited period necessary to maintain the security and integrity of the Site.

How We Share Information

We disclose the information you submit only:

  • To service providers who process information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • To insurance market participants where necessary to service your request — including insurers, reinsurers, managing general agents, wholesale brokers, and, where applicable, Lloyd's syndicates and coverholders.
  • To professional advisers such as legal counsel, auditors, and compliance consultants.
  • Where required by law — in response to lawful requests from regulators, law enforcement, courts, or as necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of a book of business.

International Transfers

BDI Global operates in the United States, and information submitted through the Site is stored and processed in the United States. Because we place risks and coordinate with market participants and affiliates that may be located outside the United States, information you submit may be transferred internationally.

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases:

Purpose Legal Basis
Responding to inquiries and submissions Performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request prior to contract
Underwriting, quoting, and risk evaluation Legitimate interests; performance of a contract
Regulatory, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations Compliance with a legal obligation
Site security and fraud prevention Legitimate interests
Optional communications you request Consent, which you may withdraw at any time

We do not rely on consent for cookies or tracking on the Site, because the Site does not use them.

Your Rights

If you are in the UK, EEA, or Switzerland

You have the right to request access to your personal data; correction of inaccurate data; erasure; restriction of processing; portability; and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.

If you are in the United States

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others — may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access or obtain a copy of it, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. As stated above, we do not sell personal information, do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not conduct automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

How to exercise your rights

Contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law — generally 45 days in the United States and one month under the UK/EU GDPR, with extensions where permitted. Certain records must be retained to meet insurance regulatory, professional liability, and statutory recordkeeping obligations, and we will tell you if an exemption applies to your request.

Data Retention

We keep the information you submit only as long as necessary for the purpose it was provided, plus any period required by insurance regulatory requirements, statutes of limitation, professional standards, and legitimate business needs. Inquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are retained for a limited period and then deleted or de-identified.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle, including encryption in transit, access controls limited to personnel with a business need, and vendor due diligence on our processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive information through a web form. If you need to transmit sensitive documentation, contact us and we will arrange a secure channel.

The Site may link to third-party websites, including carrier portals and Airtable-hosted pages. Those sites operate under their own privacy and cookie practices, and our no-cookie commitment does not extend to them. We encourage you to review their policies before providing information.

Children's Privacy

The Site is directed to insurance professionals and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our practices — including if we introduce cookies or analytics in the future — we will update this policy, revise the “Last Updated” date, and, where the change is material or legally required, obtain consent before any new tracking technology is deployed.
